As a state- of- the-art building, this building is a modern scientific research base under Wison’s name. It is an unique masterpiece in China that was designed by French architecture using full steel structure concept. The glass wall on the front side is laid outis crossed over with the steel structure members with harmony. The arc figure creates gentle feeling of motion on the side, making the whole building majesticdelicate, while bringing significant romancevisual impact. The beauty of the architecture can be expressed at any angle, allowing all passengers to stop byenjoy the beautiful view.
The total area of the Wison Sciencetechnology Park is around 25,000 square meters. The building has six floors,it is divided into three sections, depending on the difference of the function: business, livinglaboratory, while leaving large area for green belt.
The designer wish to let the arc-shaped side view of building be seen like a wave that is moving forward, the height of the steel columns are all carefully designed with the highest be 24 meters, the lowest be 12 metersthe wave crest at least 3 meters. These well-proportioned steel columns are distributed everywhere in the building with a diversity of patterns. For example, box columns, circular columns, oval columns, etc. There are also 14 long spanned box shapedarc shaped located at the entrances. In addition, H shaped straightcircular girderother large steel members also help to realize the inspiration of modern design concept.
Due to the unique appearance designed for the building, the requirement of processworkmanship to fabricating the steel columnsthe welder skill are extremely strict. Traditional fabrication skill cannot accomplish the work. The arc shaped girder is a three dimensional structure ; its base line is the intersection of two curve surface, which make it much complicated to do layoutmaterial cut-off for fabrication, if compared to other regular kinds of structure members.
We undertook all the tasks for the steel structure construction of the Wison ScienceTechnology Park, using 2,200 tons of steel for this construction. We eventually took only around 100 days to finish the project. As such, our reputationthe insistence on quality as well as effectiveness,have once again been endorsedvalued by our client.
